Five LGBTQIA+ personalities from Salvador will occupy the social networks of Salvador Bahia Airport between June 26 and 30. Each day, the image of one of them will replace the avatar of the Airport's Instagram page and will have a video in the stories in which they reveal why they feel proud to be who they are. Entitled “Diversity in profile”, the action is part of the celebrations of the 28 June, date on which LGBTQIA+ Pride Day is celebrated.

The guests to participate in the campaign are: Genilson Coutinho, photographer and editor of the Dois Terços website; Jorge Gauthier, head of reporting at CORREIO and author of the channel Me Salte; social educator and activist Paulett Furacão; journalist and digital influencer Naiana e Ribeiro; and João Hugo, photographer, audiovisual producer and coordinator of Casa Aurora - 1st LGBTQIA+ reception center in Salvador.

“Celebrating diversity and equity are very strong values for VINCI Airports. We believe that it is part of our social mission not only to promote it within the internal community, but also to our external public”, reveals the Communication Manager of Salvador Bahia Airport, Daniela Franco. She points out that an important part of this journey is giving a voice to those who are often made invisible.

Since 2018, Salvador Bahia Airport has maintained a Diversity Committee, in which a diverse group of employees come together to think of ways to make the Airport a more inclusive environment. Some members of the Committee starred in the LGBTQIA+ Pride Campaign in 2019 and, in 2020, took turns with other actors in society. Currently, 6% of the Concessionaire's employees declare themselves to be LGBTQIA+.
