Salvador Airport, a member of VINCI Airports, has launched an awareness campaign calling for an end to violence against women. The initiative uses the airport environment as a space for information and reflection, reinforcing the message that sexism and violence are not “women’s issues,” but a collective responsibility. The campaign also highlights the Women’s Support Hotline (180), a channel that encourages society to report situations of violence.

With strong and direct messages, the campaign emphasizes that thousands of women have their stories cut short every day in Brazil, with dreams that never reach their destination. Throughout the terminals and on social media, the public is invited to reflect on each person’s role in combating violence, valuing actions such as listening, offering support, reporting abuse, and engaging in the debate.

“Airports connect people and stories, and therefore also have an important social role. Reinforcing the fight to end violence against women is a way to protect life journeys and contribute to transforming society. When we use our voice and our spaces to raise awareness, we can help ensure that more lives are not cut short,” says Daniela Franco, Communications Manager at VINCI Airports in Brazil.
