Salvador Bahia Airport, a member of VINCI Airports, launched this Wednesday, the 17th, Flybondi’s direct flights connecting Salvador to Ezeiza Airport in Buenos Aires. This marks the first time the Argentine airline, known for its ultra-low-cost model, operates in the capital of Bahia, expanding travel options between Bahia and Argentina and strengthening tourism exchange between the two destinations.

The operation will be seasonal, with flights running from December 17, 2025, to March 29, 2026, on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Arrivals are scheduled for 11:20 a.m., and departures for 12:20 p.m. Over the period, there will be more than 90 landings and takeoffs, totaling over 17,000 seats offered between the two markets.

Argentina is Brazil’s leading international source market for tourists in 2025, according to data from Embratur’s dashboard. Expanding connectivity between Salvador and Buenos Aires helps meet this demand and reinforces Salvador Bahia Airport’s commitment to connecting territories.

“Argentina is a very important connection for Salvador Bahia Airport, and Flybondi’s arrival brings an even greater differentiator. As an ultra-low-cost airline, the operation expands access to air travel, democratizes international trips, and strengthens connectivity between Bahia and the Argentine market,” says Julio Ribas, CEO of VINCI Airports in Brazil.

With Flybondi’s arrival, Salvador now has four airlines operating direct flights to Buenos Aires: Flybondi, GOL, SKY, and Aerolíneas Argentinas. During the peak season alone, between December 15, 2025, and January 31, 2026, total seat capacity between Bahia and Argentina will reach 47,000, representing a 74% increase compared to the previous period.

Tickets for flights between Salvador and Buenos Aires are already available on Flybondi’s website.
