Charming, with voluptuous curves, breaking paradigms, imposing and vibrant: these are the sensations caused by "Gordinha," which lies near the check-in counters at Salvador Bahia Airport. The sculpture, inspired by the artwork "Salomé" by the Bahian artist Eliana Kertész, celebrates the lives of Brazilian women and reflects the spirit of the artist, whose life was marked by boldness, politics, and, against any aesthetic standard, created happy, full-figured women.

The mural by Glauco Rodrigues, located in the boarding area of Salvador Airport, is a striking representation of the customs and folkloric expressions of Bahia. "Manifestações Culturais" by Carybé

The artwork "Manifestações Culturais" by Carybé, displayed in the pre-boarding area of Salvador Bahia Airport, is a true visual treasure that highlights the diversity and cultural richness of Bahia. Composed of four panels, each measuring 5m x 2.08m, the work depicts women in Carnival festivities, scenes from the hinterland with cowboys, fishermen, and a capoeira circle. Although the images do not directly interact with each other, the divisions in the composition allow nationalism and regionalism to connect the various facets of Bahian culture, creating an engaging and inspiring visual experience. It is an authentic and moving representation of the cultural manifestations that make Bahia so special.

The exhibition "Salvador – Traços e Olhares," inaugurated by the visual artist Elano Passos and the photographer Will Recarey, is a fascinating journey through the distinct visual elements that capture the essence of the capital of Bahia. While Elano Passos' delicate ink strokes reveal a unique interpretation of Salvador's iconic landmarks, such as the Barra Lighthouse, the Lacerda Elevator, and the Bonfim Church, Will Recarey's photographs complement this visual narrative with his photographic perspective. The choice to portray the city was carefully designed to harmonize with the Skyline-format panel, providing an immersive and cohesive experience for viewers.
