Passengers with Special Assistance Needs
Within the category of Passengers with Special Assistance Needs (PNAE), various individuals require additional attention during their travels. This includes pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, individuals with infants, elderly people, individuals with reduced mobility, people with disabilities, and any other passengers who, due to specific conditions, experience limitations in their autonomy during the trip.

Priority Boarding and Special Assistance
Passengers with special assistance needs (PNAE) have priority boarding. It is necessary to check in at the designated check-in counter within the time frame set by the airline, with an ID document. If traveling in a stretcher, incubator, or needing medical equipment like oxygen, prior notification is required.
Vehicles equipped with elevators and ramps are available for boarding and disembarking people with physical disabilities or reduced mobility. Passengers may use wheelchairs and other assistive devices, subject to security inspection.
Disembarkation occurs after other passengers, except on connecting flights. Airlines must ensure priority assistance from check-in to access to the public area after disembarkation, without allowing other categories to have preference.

Inform your need for Special Assistance
It is essential that passengers inform the airline about their special assistance needs when booking the flight or at any time, as long as the following conditions are met:
● Inform at least 72 hours in advance if an escort or special medical care is needed, such as using a stretcher, oxygen, or other medical equipment. In these cases, medical documentation, such as the Medical Information Form (MEDIF) provided by the airline, must be submitted.
● Inform at least 48 hours in advance if other types of assistance are needed.
This information should be provided directly to the airline to ensure that all specific needs are properly met during the trip.
