Security Inspection
The guarantee of a safe and smooth flight
Passengers, as well as the crew, must undergo a security inspection to access the restricted boarding area. This is a mandatory procedure that follows international standards designed to ensure your safety. To have a smooth boarding process and avoid delays due to potential queues, we recommend arriving early.
Check the list of prohibited items before flying
Before arriving at the airport, it is important to check the list of prohibited items to avoid having these items confiscated during the security inspection. Common items that are not allowed on flights include: sharp objects, explosives, flammable liquids, firearms, dangerous chemicals, and other items that may pose a threat to safety.

Prepare for the security inspection
Essential tips for passing through the security inspection at the airport quickly and without complications.

1
Separate electronics to speed up the process
One important step in the airport security inspection is separating electronics from your carry-on baggage. This includes laptops, tablets, cell phones, and other electronic devices. By taking them out of your bag in advance, you avoid delays and speed up the screening process. Be sure to place them in a separate tray to be scanned by the X-ray machine.
2
Organize your personal items
Remove coins, keys, cell phones, and other personal items from your pockets and place them in a tray provided. A helpful tip is to gather all these items in a bag, purse, or backpack before placing them in the tray. This prevents any items from falling on the floor during the inspection process and helps speed up the passage through the X-ray machine.

3
Check the list of prohibited items before traveling
Before traveling, check the list of prohibited items to avoid setbacks during the security inspection. Ensure that you are not carrying any items that could pose a safety threat.
Random Inspection
The random selection of passengers for inspection is a regulation by the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC). The process is carried out using a random selector equipment, which randomly selects passengers for a personal search, inspection of carry-on baggage, and the use of explosive trace detectors (ETD). This inspection is performed by the APAC (Civil Aviation Police) and aims to ensure the safety of passengers during the flight.
