February 2025 – Salvador Bahia Airport, part of VINCI Airports, hosted a strategic meeting from February 3 to 6 with operational leaders from airports in the Americas and Africa. The event gathered Chief Operating Officers (COOs) and Operations Managers from 18 airports in the VINCI Airports network.
With the participation of 45 professionals, the meeting aimed to promote the exchange of experiences and operational best practices, strengthening synergy among the airports in the network. Each year, the initiative takes place at a different VINCI Airports location, providing participants with the opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge of local operations and to share challenges and solutions.
Hosting the event in Salvador also represented a strategic opportunity to showcase the transformation of Salvador Bahia Airport over the past seven years. Since the concession to VINCI Airports, the airport has undergone significant modernization, with investments in infrastructure, route expansion, and improved passenger experience. Additionally, holding the meeting in the Bahian capital contributed to promoting the destination, allowing participants to experience firsthand the city’s potential as a tourism and economic hub.
