Salvador Bahia Airport was recognized with the 2025 Lilac Seal, awarded by the Government of the State of Bahia during a ceremony held at the Operations and Intelligence Center (COI) Auditorium this Tuesday (18). Governor Jerônimo Rodrigues and the State Secretary for Women's Policies, Neuza Cadori, presented the certification, which highlights the airport's commitment to gender equity and the fight against violence toward women. The concessionaire was one of 116 companies certified in this second edition of the seal.
The latest data shows that women make up 48% of the workforce at Salvador Bahia Airport and hold 40% of leadership roles. Every year, the airport participates in VINCI Airports’ global gender equity assessment, achieving a score of 99/100 in 2025 based on criteria such as equal pay, promotion opportunities, and post-maternity leave policies. The Lilac Seal crowns these efforts by certifying companies that implement effective equality policies and actively combat discrimination, harassment, and sexual violence.
"Receiving the Lilac Seal is an important milestone in our journey toward a truly inclusive work environment. This achievement reflects the collective effort of our entire team to promote equity and respect — values that are fundamental to our operations," said Isabela Dantas, Human Resources Manager at Salvador Bahia Airport.
