At Salvador Bahia Airport, we have specific policies for the entry and stay of pets in the passenger terminal. The safety and well-being of both animals and passengers are our priority. Please carefully read the information below to better understand our policies and regulations regarding pets at the airport.

The circulation of pets is allowed at the airport, provided that the following recommendations are followed:
- Guide dogs are allowed in all areas of the airport, without exception;
- Pets are not allowed in the food court outside of transport carriers or bags, as it is an area for food handling and consumption;
- For hygiene reasons, pets or their transport carriers are not allowed on the tables;
- Outside the food court, pets must be on a leash and collar or contained in a transport carrier;
- Pets are allowed on escalators, provided they are being held in the arms;
- Aggressive dogs must wear a muzzle. It is recommended that they circulate in areas with low foot traffic;
- Your pet's waste must be disposed of in organic waste or toilet paper bins, always contained in tightly sealed bags to avoid unpleasant odors;
- If your pet urinates in the airport, immediately notify a cleaning staff member, security personnel, or terminal agent wearing a yellow VINCI Airports vest;
- In case of non-compliance with the above rules, the removal of the pet and its owner from the terminal may be requested.
