Commitment to Positive Mobility and a Sustainable Future
Located in the city of Salvador, the capital of Bahia and the first capital of Brazil, Salvador Bahia Airport has been part of the VINCI Airports network since January 2, 2018. With this incorporation, we adopted global operational standards, aiming to provide a more efficient, safe, and comfortable travel experience for our passengers.
With a privileged location, Salvador Bahia Airport is the gateway to Northeast Brazil. We are strategically located just 28 km from downtown Salvador, making airport access convenient and easy. Additionally, we are close to major highways that connect Salvador to other cities in the Northeast, further facilitating passenger mobility. With this prime location, Salvador Bahia Airport offers an even more comfortable and convenient travel experience for our passengers.
Our partnerships with leading airlines around the world allow us to offer a wide range of national and international destinations, with direct flights and connections. We have partnerships with Azul, Latam, and Gol for direct flights and connections to various cities across Brazil, as well as important international partnerships with airlines such as TAP Air Portugal, Air Europa, and Aerolíneas Argentinas, among others. We are also one of Gol's hubs in the Northeast, with 16 domestic and one international destination regularly operated, including Buenos Aires.
We are committed to maintaining strong partnerships with airlines to ensure our passengers have access to the best destinations.
Passenger experience is one of our top priorities. We want our passengers to feel welcome and comfortable during their stay at our airport, which is why we have adopted the "Sense of Place" concept. This approach integrates local elements into the passenger experience, such as art, music, gastronomy, and regional architecture.
We are passionate about our purpose of connecting destinations while caring for the planet and people. Positive mobility is in our DNA. This philosophy guides all our actions: to ensure a sustainable future for the next generations. Thus, we maintain a strict policy regarding the ethics of our management, supported by ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) guidelines.
Here are the values that drive us:
